Charming 2 bed cottage on the Bay

This charming Florida cracker safety harbor home was originally a summer home for wealthy northeners back in the 1940's. Located in Espiritu Santo Springs, the historic district of Safety Harbor, our home has been carefully updated. It is bright and airy with wood floors and skylights. The living room has a fireplace, a TV with cable, VCR and DVD and comfortable seating. There is a double futon in the porch area of the living room for additional sleeping. The bathroom has a whirlpool tub and shower. Both bedrooms are carpeted with a skylight in the front bedroom and a bay window looking out onto the front garden. The back bedroom and formal dining room lead out onto the large deck through double french doors. There is a gas grill and table and chairs and umbrella for outdoor dining, and an outdoor fireplace on the brick patio next to the 6 person Jacuzzi, and a television in the wall. The oversized detached recreation room offers ping pong, darts, cards and a full sized rerigerator. All rooms have air conditioning and ceiling fans. There is a telephone with restricted service and a utility room with washer and dryer.

All linens and towels are provided, as well as beach towels, beach chairs and beach umbrellas for the days you spend on the beautiful white beaches of Clearwater, only 15 minutes away. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need to make your stay easy and enjoyable. The back garden is private and peaceful, offering a relaxing atmosphere after your day at the beach or shopping or sightseeing. We have provided lots of reading material - both fictin and non fiction - and board games. Safety Harbor is the perfect location from which to enjoy all that the Gulf Coast has to offer. 15 minutes To Tampa International Airport, 15 minutes to historic Tarpon Springs and its Greek community, 30 minutes to Busch Gardens, and 1 1/4 hours from Disney World. You are close to first class restaurants and shopping. Innisbrook Resort offers world class golfing.

Safety Harbor is an undiscovered jewel! You will love the experience of living in this charming Florida town nestled right on old Tampa Bay. Walk from your house along tree shaded brick streets to the marina and pier, passing the world famous Safety Harbor Spa along the way. Stroll down Main Street and find restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We have provided menus from all the restaurants. A short walk on the green beltway will take you along the water to historic Phillippe Park, with huge oak trees and picnic areas, and beautiful vistas across the water. The area is abundant with wildlife, dolphons play off shore, and you may even see manatees in the cooler months, by the pier.
