Amenities
Guest membership in North Captiva Island Club includes 2 pools, a hot tub, work-out room, tennis, kayaks, bicycles, bar and restaurant. Home has private heated pool with stone patio with an outdoor living area including a kitchen with dining area; 2 verandas and 2 sundecks; and views over the trees of the Gulf and State Nature Preserve. Wireless internet (we provide a computer or bring your own) and unlimited long distance phone!
About the Island
North Captiva Island is a private barrier island located just off the Ft. Myers coast accessable only by boat or private air craft. Water taxi provides transportation to and from the island. No cars allowed. Golf cart included in the rental. The island has some of the best shelling in the world on 3 miles of pristine beach and hiking through the State Nature Preserve. For dining and shopping there are 3 Restaurants, a small grocery store, Steve's fun-in-the-sun kiosk, and a gift shop/ice cream shop. Always great fishing and water sports. Free use of kayaks is included with your stay.
